My images are made by combining a love and appreciation of the natural world, behavioral  knowledge of the subject, patience, perseverance, and a bit of luck.

I use Nikon digital equipment and an Apple computer to develop my images, employing “darkroom techniques” that have been around since photography’s inception.    The images are available for purchase as Limited Editions of 7, giclee on Breathing Color 'Lyve' canvas, hand-signed, varnished, and gallery wrapped.  Or as prints on Breathing Color 'Optica' Fine Art Paper  available in various sizes  and also hand-signed.

My subjects are unrestrained wild animals;  I do not use food, perches, or other means to lure them closer or position them to my advantage.  

I endeavor to photograph healthy animals in their natural behaviors and create a fine art image which captures the viewer with beauty and detail.  Thereby inspiring admiration, respect, and a desire to protect and preserve all nature.
